Bowls Buddies has specially designed the ‘Bowls Catcher’ to expand our exciting range of games that can be played with our ‘Bowls Buddies’ Bowls. Launched in November 2024, this product is exclusively manufactured for Bowls Buddies. Kids love the thrill of bowling into designated areas and scoring points, making it an excellent tool for engaging bowlers of all ages, while enhancing their accuracy. The ‘Bowls Catcher’ is compatible with both standard bowls and ‘Bowls Buddies’ bowls. You can check out a video showcasing its use on our Videos page. Bowls Catcher – £84.96
The Bowls Buddies ‘Bowls Catcher’ is crafted from 100% recycled, 3mm thick black ABS plastic, making it incredibly durable. It measures 53cm x 46cm and stands 11cm tall. You can purchase three ‘Bowls Catchers’ for just £219, saving over £35 off the regular price.
Additionally, you can customise your ‘Bowls Catchers’ with numbering at no extra cost—choose from ‘100’ or ‘50’.
Target Wedge
Bowls Buddies have designed a Target Wedge to grow our range of great games that you can play with our Bowls Buddies Bowls. Only released in Summer 2023, this is manufactured exclusively for Bowls Buddies in the UK. We have always found that children love bowling into a wedge and scoring points, and we consider that it will be one of the best pieces of equipment to engage bowlers, both young and old! It works with normal bowls as well as Bowls Buddies bowls. We can also supply a large storage drawstring bag to keep your wedge safe when moving it about or storing it. The drawstring bag is made from thick oxford fabric, which is waterproof. View videos of the Wedges being used on our Videos page.

Target Wedge – £162.60
The Bowls Buddies Target Wedge is made from 100% recycled 3mm thick black ABS plastic and is extremely sturdy. It is large at 1 metre wide, 80cm deep and is raised by 13 cm at the rear. At 3.2kg in weight it won’t move around if it’s windy! With colourful numbering it is sure to stand out on your green or within schools/community centres. For an extra £29.88 add on a black waterproof storage drawstring bag (120cm x 94cm) for your wedge to ensure it is kept safe and not scratched or damaged when being transported or stored. For multiple wedges you can buy a 140cm x 110cm drawstring bag which holds up to around 5 wedges for just £31.80.
Target Mats
We offer a range of target mats (as detailed below) that will make your bowling sessions or open days more fun, both for children and adults. Mats are included with some of the kits that we supply but you can always order extra if you wish or look at our Target Mat Bundles set out below to make savings on multiple mats. Crafted from high-quality 600D Oxford Twill Micro Fabric, the Target Mats combine outstanding durability with eye-catching, vibrant sublimation printing – guaranteed to brighten up every practice session. Fully machine washable at 30°C, they’re easy to keep looking their best, and each mat comes in its own bespoke storage pouch for simple, tidy storage between sessions. Our Premium Bundle also includes our popular Bowls Catchers and Target Wedge.
Hexagon Target Mat – £39.96
The Hexagon Target Mat is unique to Bowls Buddies and is sure to grab peoples’ attention with its bright colours. The standard size is 120 cm x 120 cm, but it can also be ordered in a larger size (200 cm x 200 cm) to make a real impact for £99.96.
Square Target Mat – £39.96
The Square Target Mat is also unique to Bowls Buddies and provides a challenge for all abilities. Can you get your bowl in the middle and score 100 points? Points have been deliberately scaled up to 100 to match the scoring on target wedges. The Square Target is supplied with the Bowls Buddies Kits in the standard 120cm x 120cm in size, but can be ordered in the larger 200cm x 200cm (£99.96).
Bullseye Target Mat – £39.96
The Bullseye Target Mat is designed to have no numbering to allow for different types of games that could be a bit less competitive. The aim of the game is to get closest to the centre of the mat. The Bullseye Target Mat is also provided as part of the kits that we sell. The standard size is 120cm x 120cm, but it can also be ordered in a 200cm x 200cm size (£99.96).
‘The Cliffhanger’ Target Mat – £84.96
The ‘Cliffhanger’ Target provides a different sort of target to the others being rectangular in shape. Can you avoid the ‘No Score’ bands and push your luck to get the higher scores at the end? This target mat is a different shape than the other target mats and is 120cm x 240cm in size.
