Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully as by using our website and purchasing any products you are agreeing to them.

1. Prices

We accept online payments via Stripe or bank transfer, and these options will be shown on your invoice which will be generated and sent electronically to you following receipt of an order. Billing following a credit card transaction will appear as “Bowls Buddies LLP “. Goods will only be dispatched once payment has cleared.

For all orders the cost of delivery to the UK mainland will be £8.50 per package. Any alterations to this will be clearly shown on the Invoice before payment has to be made. Exceptions on delivery charges may also apply to the following areas: Northern Ireland, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man and certain northern Scottish Postcodes and, once again, the charges will be clearly shown on your invoice.

If you would like to contact us for a shipping quote in advance of any invoice then please use the Contact Form on the website or email bowlsbuddies@gmail.com, clearly stating what you will be ordering.

VAT will be payable on all orders from 1st December 2025. All prices shown on the website from this date will include VAT and invoices will show the amount of VAT payable.

Bowls Buddies LLP reserve the right to cancel any orders where pricing errors have occurred without notice.

2. Returns & Refunds

If for some reason you are not happy with your product you can return it to us for a refund or exchange. Bowls Buddies LLP operate a 2 month return policy.  This gives you the confidence to purchase a product with the confidence that you can return the product up to 2 months after the purchase date.  All we ask is that the product is returned in its original packaging with labels attached, where appropriate, and that the product is returned in the same new condition as it was received.

The returned product must be fit for resale as a new item as you yourself would expect to receive it. Should items need to be returned through no fault of Bowls Buddies it will be the responsibility of the buyer to pay for the cost of the return.  Please contact us at bowlsbuddies@gmail.com to arrange a return.

We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

Any refund will be made direct to the credit/charge card originally used to place the order. Returns are normally processed within 10 working days, once the returned products have been received. Upon inspection of the returned product, Bowls Buddies LLP will issue a refund less the original delivery charge and once issued it will usually take 3-5 working days to show in your account.

Please be aware that you are responsible for the returned item(s) until it has reached us. We recommend using a secure delivery method which requires tracking or a signature upon receipt.

We reserve the right to refuse any returns that do not meet our returns criteria (for example worn items or items returned without original packaging). If a return item cannot be accepted by us, we will contact you to arrange the shipping back to your address, we cannot issue refunds for items which are refused due to a breach of our return’s terms. Any refused returns items that cannot be accepted to your address will be disposed of by us after 30 days of storage.

If you return the wrong item to us, we will endeavour to locate the parcel and return it, however on some occasions this is not possible. Please note we cannot accept liability for any returns deliveries that were not intended for us and we will not be able to compensate for the loss of these items. Any items incorrectly delivered to us that cannot be returned will be disposed of after 30 days storage.

You will not be refunded for the P&P of your item, but please be aware that you are responsible for the returned item until it has reached us. We recommend using a secure delivery method which requires a signature upon receipt such as Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Our products are packaged to ensure they arrive to you in good condition. However very occasionally items will arrive damaged or with defects. Please return these items to us. Once we have received and inspected the returned item, we will replace the item free of charge. Should a refund be requested, then the refund will be made as soon as the item has been returned. In these circumstances we will also pay you the cost of the return postage. Please obtain a proof of posting certificate from your Post Office to enable us to process the refund for your return postage costs.

This does not affect your Statutory Rights.

3. Cancellations

We try to complete all cancellation requests before the time of the order’s dispatch, although we cannot guarantee a successful cancellation.

You can cancel your order by contacting us through the online form on the “Contact” page of the website, and specifying why you are cancelling or amending your order number, are included within the message.

Once items have been dispatched, we are often unable to cancel. If this is the case, we would recommend refusing the item when delivery is attempted or returning the item to us once delivered in accordance with section 2 above.

We reserve the right to cancel any order without notice which are subject to pricing errors, stock issues or quality control issues.

4. Delivery

You will normally receive three emails from us. The first email is your confirmation of order. This is confirmation that we have received your order. It is not confirmation that the order you have placed is guaranteed to be in stock or that it can be fulfilled. Sometimes errors do occur in our stock inventory or other customers order just before you. We cannot be liable or responsible for any loss occurring because your items are not in stock. We will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible if this is the case.

The 2nd email you get from us is your invoice which will enable you to pay for the goods and means that your order has been processed and your item(s) are in stock. The 3rd email will tell you that payment has been satisfactorily received and that your order is being, or has been, shipped.

We will make every effort to deliver your order within the time estimate (the estimate is in 7 working days unless otherwise stated) provided on our website. However, this is an estimate, and delivery within the time quoted cannot be guaranteed. If the goods are not delivered within the time we have estimated, please feel free to contact us by email at bowlsbuddies@gmail.com and we will try to resolve the issue promptly.

We will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery over the estimated provided.

5. Non Delivery

It is the buyer’s responsibility to notify us if the goods have not been received within 21 days of the estimated delivery date.

If no notification is made within this time period the buyer shall be deemed to have received the goods.

6. Special Codes

If you have been recommended Bowls Buddies kits then you may have been asked to enter a code on the Order Form. Please do so in the appropriate section at the end of the form as this will enable us to make either an appropriate donation to the Governing Body or a small payment to the person making the recommendation.

7. Copyright

Copying and printing portions of this website is permitted only for the sole purpose of placing an order with us. The materials on our website may not be used for any other purpose without written permission from Bowls Buddies LLP.

8. Disclaimer

It is the responsibility of each individual or organisation to the purchase relevant insurance, where applicable, when using Bowls Buddies equipment and ensuring that appropriate Risk Assessments are carried out and the equipment is used in a safe manner. Bowls Buddies LLP accepts no responsibility for the injury or fatality of an individual or third party whilst using any products sold through ourselves.

9. Data Privacy and Cookies

Bowls Buddies LLP is committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect about you to process orders and maintain appropriate records. No information collected by us on this site will be sold, rented or loaned except as expressly stated in our Privacy Policy  and consented to by you.

Data will be kept for the time necessary to provide the service requested by the user, or stated by the purposes outlined in this document, and the user can always request that the Bowls Buddies suspend or remove the data.

10. Cookies

We use cookies on the website for a variety of reasons which you can learn about in our Privacy Policy. The cookies we use do not store personally identifiable information nor can they harm your computer. We want our website to be informative, personal, and as user friendly as possible and cookies help us to achieve that goal.

11. Use of Website

It is important for you to protect against unauthorised access to your password and to your computer.

Be sure to sign off when you have finished using a shared computer.

Bowls Buddies LLP does not sell products for purchase by children. We sell children’s products for purchase by adults. If you are under 18, you may order from Bowls Buddies LLP only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Credit card transactions for for Bowls Buddies is provided by a third party called Stripe. Stripe provide very high levels of internet and physical security to ensure sensitive information is never compromised.  If you wish to receive further information on Stripe Security then please contact us.  Transactions made on Credit Cards will show up on your statement as ‘Bowls Buddies LLP’.

12. Complaints

Bowls Buddies LLP will undertake to handle a complaint fairly and competently. We will keep you informed either by telephone or email at each stage and will endeavour to fully resolve your complaint within 72 hours. If you are still not happy with the way your complaint is being handled you should write to:

13. Policy Changes

If we decide to change our policy, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we disclose it. Any changes to this policy made by Bowls Buddies LLP will be posted here and will take effect immediately. Bowls Buddies LLP reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions without notice. This policy was last updated in November 2025.
